Our Mission
WSBC is a mission minded conservative congregation, aligned with the Southern Baptist Convention and Baptist General Convention of Texas. We participate faithfully in the Cooperative Program in order to spread the word here and abroad.
Our Church
Our Church is committed to meeting the needs of people. Our mission is to join God in His mission of reaching out to lost and hurting souls with His good news of salvation in Christ and help every person begin a lifelong journey of faith.
Our Covenant
Having accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal savior and
having been baptized on profession of faith, we covenant with each
other as a family of God:
To share each other's joys and bear each
other's sorrows;
To continue in prayer, always giving thanks;
To
support the ministry of our church by our participation;
To
contribute our resources and ourselves to the spread of
the gospel here and around the world;
To provide spiritual nurture
and Christian education for all who come under our watch care;
To
work toward the goal of salvation for all and the establishment of
the Kingdom of God;
To trust in the Lord;
To be faithful in our
discipleship, by the grace of God.
